Mont Belvieu Storage
LDH Energy’s Mont Belvieu Storage (MTBV) located in Mont Belvieu, Texas is a storage facility with over 43 million barrels of underground liquids storage capacity in 24 salt caverns dedicated to natural gas liquids (ethane, propane, butane, natural gasoline, Y-grade), olefins and refined products. The facility includes truck and rail car loading racks, an approximately 200 mile pipeline system linking MTBV to refineries and petrochemical facilities along the upper Texas Gulf Coast. MTBV also has connectivity to the Colonial, TEPPCO and Dixie pipelines which are long haul refined product and LPG distribution systems that allow for the delivery of products from MTBV to demand centers in PADDs I and II. The facility is also a physical delivery location for the NYMEX propane futures contract.
MTBV’s connectivity and flexibility to meet customer needs render it an ideal storage and trading hub for fungible and commingled liquid petroleum products. The facility’s customers include producers, refiners, merchants and end users. The facility has high incremental growth opportunities with the potential to further diversify the slate of products stored and to expand both brine capacity and underground storage.
Our Mont Belvieu facility is a competitive supplier of services to the NGL and refined product communities. Our commitment to the mid-stream energy space is evident with the continued growth of our asset base.
