West Texas Pipeline
The LDH Energy Pipeline in West Texas (WTPL) is a 1,066 mile mixed-stream NGL (Y-grade) pipeline originating in West Texas in the Permian Basin, passing through the Barnett Shale production center, and terminating at Mont Belvieu, Texas. WTPL transports raw NGL's from various third-party gas processing plants and a third-party Y-grade pipeline to multiple destinations including four Mont Belvieu fractionators. WTPL’s assets include a 200,000 barrel underground NGL storage facility near Midland, Texas used for system balancing and 12 pump stations providing 21,500 connected horsepower. LDH Energy purchased WTPL in 2004. Since acquiring WTPL, the Company has expanded the pipeline capacity from 55,000 to 144,000 barrels per day.
The West Texas segment of our pipeline gathers raw natural gas liquids from plants in the Permian Basin as well as from barrels on the new Barnett Shale expansion pipeline.

LDH Energy also owns an approximately 100-mile natural gas gathering pipeline system with a capacity of 20 MMcfd in the lower Barnett Shale (Fort Worth Basin), proximal to otherwise stranded third-party wells. LDH Energy initiated gas gathering service in 2005 to service local gas producers, by converting idle pipe purchased as part of the WTPL acquisition.
